Type:846639 Fuel Shut-Off Solenoid New and good quality. Solenoid height: 1.72", bottom diameter: 1.02". Replace for Briggs & Stratton Part Number 846639. The fuel shut off solenoid is often used on lawn and garden equipment engines to interrupt fuel flow from the injection fuel pump when the ignition switch is turned off. Just clamp the fuel line so it doesn't drain your whole tank of gas while you are installing the solenoid-fuel. Unscrew the old one and screw the new one with a wrench. Be sure to have fuel line closed off before installation.
